This Privacy Policy explains how Kloud45 ("Kloud45", "we", "us", or "our"), a registered technology company (RG No. 8856807) based at 7a Zircon Road, Sapphire Garden, Awoyoya, 105102, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, collects, uses, and protects your information across our website (kloud45.tech) and our products — Kloudesta, Melu, ResQbox, and KloudMedics (together, the "Services").

- Account information — name, email address, phone number, and business details you provide when creating an account.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Paystack); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data — how you interact with our Services, device and log information, and diagnostic data.
- Product-specific data — for example, booking and inventory records (Kloudesta), delivery and order details (Melu), emergency contacts and location shared during an active alert (ResQbox), or health and consultation records (KloudMedics).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to provide and maintain our Services, process payments and orders, respond to support requests, send important service communications, improve product performance, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Payment Processing
Payments made through our Services are processed by our third-party payment processor, Paystack. Paystack is independently responsible for the security of the payment data it handles, in line with its own PCI-DSS compliance and privacy practices. We only receive confirmation of successful transactions and limited metadata needed for reconciliation and support.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Our payment processor (Paystack) to complete transactions;
- Our joint venture partner, OkachDeliver, where necessary to operate the Melu platform;
- Cloud infrastructure and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations;
- Law enforcement or regulators where required by applicable law.

We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described below, subject to legal or regulatory retention requirements (for example, financial transaction records).

8. Sensitive Data — ResQbox & KloudMedics
ResQbox processes real-time location and emergency-contact data only while an alert is active, and solely to notify the contacts you designate. KloudMedics processes health-related information solely to facilitate consultations and record-keeping between you and independent healthcare practitioners; this data is treated with heightened confidentiality and is not shared for marketing purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our Services or by email. Continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
